Age | Drivers must be a minimum of:
- 23 years of age for car categories A, A1, B
- 25 years of age for car categories C, C1, D, D1, F, F1
- 27 years of age for car categories H, H1, E, G, G1, G2, F2, I
- The maximum rental age is 70 years
Driver’s License: Drivers must have held a valid license for at least two (2) years. National Driving Licenses are accepted from Europe, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Israel, Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Qatar, Morocco, Montenegro, South Africa, Moldavia.
An International Driving License is required in all other countries (e.g USA, Australia).
Additional Drivers: One (1) additional driver can be registered without any additional charge. Maximum three (3) drivers including the main driver are allowed per rental.
Traffic Violations and Traffic Fines: Tickets and fines resulting from any violation of Greek Traffic laws during the rental period is the responsibility of the renter.
Modern and safe vehicles: We will ensure that you will receive a safe, well maintained, and serviced vehicle.
Vehicle Checks Before Delivery of Car: All cars are cleaned and checked by our mechanics prior to rental and delivery.
Category or Group Selection: Upon booking, a category of car is to be chosen. These include several different car models with similar features. In case you have a confirmed reservation for a specific car group and there is not any available car from this category, we reserve the right to deliver a vehicle of bigger category with no extra charge.
Rental Extension: If your rental has already begun and you wish to keep it longer, you must contact our company and check if the car is available for extension. We have the right to deny the extension of the rental if the car is already booked but we will do our best to provide you with an alternative vehicle. Please note that a customer is not allowed to bring the car later than the agreed return time, without having taken permission, as insurance will be invalid.
Booking Cancellation: Once your booking is confirmed, cancellations can be made at any time but please inform us as soon as possible.
Vehicle Cleaning Charge: If the car is returned in a very dirty condition, such as stains in the interior, then you will be charged for the cleaning of the vehicle.
Road Map, GPS Sat Nav: Upon delivery, you will receive a map of the Corfu island free of charge.
We also offer a GPS Navigation with the map of Corfu, available in 17 languages. The cost is €4 per day.
Fuel Policy: Return as Collected
The renter has to return the vehicle with the same level of petrol as delivered. If the renter returns the vehicle with less level of fuel, that was delivered, the renter will be charged the fuel difference. There is no refund if the renter returns the vehicle with more level of fuel that was delivered.
All our cars use unleaded (petrol).
Key Loss: If the keys are lost and damaged the customer is responsible for the replacement costs.
Infant Seat, Baby Seat, and Booster Seat: We offer for free 3 different types of child seats – Infant seat, Baby seat, and Booster seat.
No additional charges on flight delays: In case of flight delays, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport until you arrive with no additional charge.
Discount Coupon: Our Repeater Customers enjoy a 5% or 10% discount on the online prices with every new reservation.
Mileage: Unlimited mileage is included in our rates.
Taxes: V.A.T (Value Added Tax) 24% is included in our rates.
Pets, Animals: Pets and animals are not permitted within the vehicles unless confirmed prior to arrival.
Insurances
Collision Damage Waiver Insurance (C.D.W): Included in the rental cost. With this insurance in case of damage the renter’s liability limits to an excess amount. For groups A, A1, B, C, C1, D, D1, F, F1 the excess amount is 700€. For groups, H, H1, E, G, G1, G2, F2, I the excess amount is 900€. This insurance does not cover damages to, glass parts (windscreen), wheels, tires, and to the underside of the car. A valid credit card, in the driver’s name, is required as a guarantee on the pickup date. Cash accepted for Secure Deposit.
Full Collision Damage Waiver Insurance with zero excess (F.C.D.W): If you would like, you can add Full Collision Damage Waiver Insurance with an extra daily cost of 5-15 euro depending on the Group of the car. With this optional insurance, you are 100% covered. This insurance offers cover to the roof of the vehicle, to glass parts ( windscreen included), wheels and tires, fire insurance, theft insurance, and personal accident insurance. In the event of damage or theft, the excess reduces to 200 euro.
– No Credit Card Deposit or Block is required with this insurance.
Fire Insurance: Included in the rental cost
Theft insurance: Theft insurance is included in the rental cost and with this insurance, you are fully covered in case of theft, of the car. This insurance doesn’t cover if the theft occurred because of negligence. This insurance also doesn’t cover theft of personal belongings.
Accident: In case of an accident, the renter must contact our company immediately via our 24/7 helpline in order to receive instructions on how to handle the situation. You are not allowed to leave the place of the incident without reporting the accident. If you cannot contact our company, you should contact the police directly. If the renter fails to provide the report to our company then he/she is obliged to pay for repair costs of any damage caused to the rental vehicle. If the driver or one of the passengers is injured you should also inform the police/ambulance. If by any chance the other involved party leaves the accident place, take a photo or write down the plate number. We will also call our insurance partner for an accident report. It is prohibited to drive under the influence of alcohol and disobey traffic rules.
Ferrying the vehicle off Corfu island: Ferrying the car on and off Corfu island is not allowed. You are only covered by the insurance to drive the vehicle only on Corfu island.
Use of Car
All insurance coverings & waivers are valid provided that the renter has complied with all terms & conditions. The renter is obliged to pay for repair costs of any damage, caused to the rental vehicle, if the use of the car is not proper, as below:
- The vehicle is operated on any unauthorized road, non-asphalt road, dirt road, or off-road.
- The renter violates traffic rules (eg. road/STOP signs, speed limits, road direction, U-turns).
- The renter violates parking rules.
- The renter ignores any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle.
- The vehicle is operated in any race, speed test, or rally or if the vehicle is used for the purpose of reward (taxi or courier service).
- The vehicle is driven by any that is not registered on the rental agreement.
- The driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol or any drug that affects his ability to drive the vehicle.
- The vehicle is operated outside of the agreed rental period.
- The vehicle is willfully or recklessly damaged by the renter (note: burning out a clutch, sitting/standing on the bonnet/boot/roof of the vehicle, or damages to the vehicle interior).
